Red Giants Aims Another Win Against The Lions

After bringing home three valuable points in Pulau Pinang with a 4-1 victory over Penang FC, today the Red Giants will face UiTM FC at the MBPJ Stadium, Kelana Jaya at 9 pm.

Karsten Neitzel, head coach of Selangor FC is grateful for the commitment given by the team and is confident that the positive motivation now will help his men grab the next three points.

"Like other teams, we only have two days to prepare for the next game and for me, the most important thing is a player recovery session and preparing a plan on how we want to play while defending and attacking against the next team," Karsten said.

"We have to do everything in a short time but I am very happy that the coaches, officials, and players who gave their full commitment for every game, and this is the best for the team to continue the fight until the end of the M League," he added.

"The team's motivation is also now in a better state. They have more self-confidence and willingness to take big risks during the match. We need a good combination of players to show the best performance for the fans."

"Speaking of UiTM FC, there is no denying that they have an advantage on the offensive side but I also remain confident with my players to grab the next three points," he said.

As for the players' availability, Selangor FC could not include two imported players, namely Safuwan Baharudin (concussion) and Tim Heubach (ankle injury) until they were confirmed to have recovered and completed the physiotherapy process.

Meanwhile, three other Red Giants players, Halim Saari (ACL), Shahrel Fikri (ankle injury), and team captain, Brendan Gan are still undergoing a rehabilitation session with Selangor FC physio and are not expected to be with the team until the end of this season.

However, Selangor fans could rejoice as three of their import players, Manuel Konrad, Oliver Buff, and Jordan Ayimbila are free from injury and suspension ahead of the game against The Lions.

The Lions are currently at the bottom of the league with 2 points, while the Red Giants are 5th in the league with six wins, five draws, and five losses.

Tonight's victory will challenge Penang FC's position in the fourth position in the league and the KL City FC team will have the opportunity to overtake Selangor in the fifth position.

Hopefully, Selangor FC will bring home three valuable points at home tonight. Come on, Red Giants!

Demi kebanggaan.
